These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of reader.tube (the “Service”). Please read them carefully before using our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least [13/16/18] years old (depending on your region’s laws) to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. Description of the Service
The Service allows users to view, read, and summarize YouTube video transcripts. We do not own, control, or endorse the content of any external video or transcript. We provide summaries and transcripts for educational and informational purposes only. AI-generated content may contain mistakes.
Subscriptions and Billing
Pro is $9/month or $79/year USD, billed in advance through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in Manage Billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. A failed renewal payment ends Pro until payment succeeds; there is no grace period. The Free plan includes a limited amount of processing, as shown in the app.
Cancel any time in Manage Billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires.
4. User Conduct
- You agree not to use the Service in any unlawful manner or for any illegal purpose.
- You agree not to upload or transmit any material that infringes upon any third party’s intellectual property rights.
5. Intellectual Property
The content, trademarks, and data on this Service, including software, website design, and branding, are the property of or licensed toreader.tube. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our proprietary content without express written permission.
Third-Party Content Disclaimer:reader.tube provides access to video transcripts sourced from YouTube. We do not own or claim any rights to YouTube videos, transcripts, or any related content. All YouTube-related content remains the property of its respective owners, and our Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
If you are a content owner and believe your intellectual property rights are being infringed upon, please contact us atsupport@reader.tube, and we will review your request.
Video content belongs to its owners; use of YouTube content is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
6. Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide accurate and useful information but do not guarantee the correctness or completeness of any content. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, reader.tube disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any damages or loss resulting from your use of the Service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold reader.tube harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
